Boots & Sainsbury's Beauty Haul

Hey guys,

Today I have a beauty haul for all my lovely blog readers because there wasn't enough to make a video out of it.
First thing I picked up was these Kleenex facial wipes. I generally try to pick up whatever's on offer, but I don't think I'll choose these ones again! I am more of an eye makeup person than anything else, but these wipes really irritate my eyes, so taking off eyeliner causes pain.
Sainsbury's - £2.99 - Buy one get one free offer

Next is my Simple Cleanser, which is basically my favourite skincare product ever. I use it after using makeup wipes and it leaves your skin so soft and nice, I'd definitely reccomend it.
Sainsbury's - £3.00
I have extremely thin hair, which can be really frustrating! I am yet to find a product that will work, so hopefully this will finally be the one.
Sainsbury's - £3.99 - 2 for £5 offer

Again, another thing to help with my thin hair, is some tipped wavy kirby grips because the normal ones fall out of my hair. My mum also bought me two clips to pin my hair back with.
Kirbies - Boots - Don't know, sorry!
Clips - Don't know, sorry!

I have heard good things about this as an affordable eyeliner, and mine was getting a bit grotty, so I bought it! I have only used it once so far, but it seems super easy to apply, and it's easy to control the thickness of your line too.
Boots - £1.99

I might review some of these products soon!

Top of the Rocks: Skater Skirts

Hey,

I'm going to be doing top of the rocks posts every now and then of what I like in beauty and fashion. Right now I am obsessed with skater skirts and when I have spare money I'm going to get myself one. So here's my favourites of what's on the market right now.

This is perfect. I think I will almost definitely have to buy this. I think the small bits of glitter really make it more interesting than just a plain red skirt and it's super affordable too.

£16.00 - Topshop

My favourite thing about this one is the tiny bird detail, its so cute! I also like the coral belt, because I don't actually have any coloured belts right now. This is another one which I'm pretty sure I will be ordering.

£12.99 - New Look

This one is a quite vintage style, and again I like the smaller flower detailing. I like how it's quite short as well, I do like short skirts (not a slut I promise)!

£16.00 - ASOS

This is obviously a more plain skirt, but I have so many other items that would go with this. That said, I already have a skirt this colour so I might not go for this one personally.

£12.99 - Internacionale

Hope this helped someone! Thanks for reading.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hey,

It's officially 2013! My new year was pretty uneventful, me and my little brother watched 2 old episodes of Miranda and then watched the fireworks on the BBC. I haven't ever watched the fireworks before as I usually just go to bed like every other night, but I thought I'd do something fun. Who needs parties? I am so glad to finally be rid of 2012, because it was a pretty rubbish year for me. This year is a complete fresh start to me, and I am writing a list of 50 goals to make it the best year ever. When I have got to my 50, I'll blog about it and do a blog post for every goal I achieve.
Today I went to ASDA, I know, an exciting way to start 2013. On the bright side, I got new socks, because I have a small obsession with cute socks and some TRESemme hair mousse. The mousse was reduced from £5 to £3 so I was really happy with the deal. I'm definitely going to be reviewing it in a future blog post or YouTube video.
Tomorrow I'm going shopping with my friends Katy and Connor so I might do a small haul!

Rage and love,

Beauty Haul

Hey!

As I said yesterday, today I travelled to a big shopping centre about 2 hours away from me. I did buy quite a few items of clothing, which I might show in a different post, but I got two really good deals on amazing beauty items.
The first is from Lush, where all of their Christmas gift boxes and products were half price. It worked out that when you bought a gift box you were getting a really good deal for products that you might have wanted anyway. I picked up the Christmas Candy Box, reduced from £19.95 to £9.40.
It is wrapped with gorgeous paper and because you just take the lid off the box rather than rip off all the paper you can use the box for storage.

The product I was most excited about was Snow Fairy, as I have been waiting to buy this for about a year now, and it has not disappointed. It is now off the website til next Christmas so get down to your local store. I have also wanted to try a Lush lip scrub for a while and the popcorn one tastes so good! It retails at £5.25.

The set also came with 70g of rock star soap, a butterball bath ballistic, and a candy mountain bubble bar. The bubble bar smells amazing, and I love Lush's bubble bars, so this is great for me. The soap retails at £3.40/100g, the bubble bar is off the website til next Christmas and the bath ballistic at £2.45

I then picked up the FCUK little indulgent box at Boots for £5. All of their Christmas gift sets are 1/2 price too so I'd reccomend getting them while you can!
The products came in another useful box I have used to store lotions in.
It contains 4 minis - a body wash, body spray, body butter and body polish. They all have a gorgeous scent, and so far I have only used the body butter, which I already know is going to be a firm favourite.

I really reccomend getting down to these shops while these fab offers are on!

Christmas 2012!

Hey guys :)

I had a great Christmas this year and spent a lot of time with my family, that's why it's taken me until today to make this blog post about my day.
I woke up around 7 due to the fact that my mum and brother were having a very loud conversation in the room me and my family were staying in. Me and my brother then went downstairs and opened our stockings by my Grandad's fire, with me still in a sleeping bag because I was freezing. My parents and my Grandad then came downstairs and we opened our main presents. I was so happy with everything I got, and spent most of the day trying out my new things. At about 1pm the Christmas dinner I had helped my Mum to prepare the night before was ready. I literally felt like I gained like 3 pounds after that meal, but I only had 3 crackers for tea so it's okay. For the rest of the afternoon we watched rubbish Christmas shows on tv and ate chocolates. When I got home we opened the presents we couldn't take to my Grandad's. I was very happy with them too.
My main present not featured in the photo below is my laptop, because I was on it while the photo was taken. Up until now I've been sharing a laptop with my whole family. For the 13 year old internet addicted, crazy fangirl, vlogger and blogger that I am that's not been the ideal situation, so I finally got my own! It has the shiny new Windows 8 operating system that satisfies the nerdy side of me so much. I could write an entire blog post on Windows 8, but I won't bore you with that.
Instead, here's a picture of my presents!
This is all of my presents from my family and close family friends. I am going to be reviewing a lot of these gifts as most are beauty related. I'd like to say that I am so grateful for everything that I got and I thanked everyone who bought me something.
Tomorrow I'm going shopping to the sales, so depending on how much I buy I might do a haul blog post.

It's Been a While...

Hello, let's have a chat. I've not been on here in a while, simply because I've been the busiest person in the world.
I broke up from school on Thursday, so 4 days ago now. The last week or two of school is always a mess of tests homework and trying to get things done on time. My last two weeks have been exactly that. In amongst all that I've been wading through youtube, with a collab, main channel and Vlogmas to contend with. So sorry I've not been posting in a while, but I've been overly busy with other things.
Today is Christmas Eve Eve, so only 2 sleeps to go til the big day! This year I'll be spending it at my Grandad's house because it would've just been him and the dog otherwise. We haven't done this since I was really young, like 3 or 4, so I can't remember it at all. Usually, him and my Gran come to our house for Christmas dinner but because she passed away this year we're staying at my Grandad's for Christmas Eve.
I'm quite excited to do this because our Christmas Eve is usually like any other day, but this year I plan on spending the entire day with my Grandad's dog because he is the cutest thing ever and I love playing with him. So in theory my Christmas actually starts tomorrow. I still don't think it feels like Christmas, but I'm slowly getting there.
The thing I'm looking forward to most is my Christmas dinner. My Mum does roast turkey and all the trimmings every year and it's amazing. Call me fat, but I've been looking forward to it since the start of December. I also love it when you give someone a present and their face just lights up, it makes me feel super happy that I've made them happy. Obviously I like getting presents too, but I'd be happy with just giving other people presents to be honest.
My family isn't religious but me and my Mum always do the Christingle. I just think it's a really fun celebration, considering I usually hate having to go to church for any occasion. Also, in the last few years we have started going to the nativity play held in my Grandad's village's church, which is basically 0% religious but involves cute little kids doing some acting.
So that's how my Christmas is going to be spent. I'll hopefully be posting on Christmas day if I have time, but if not, have a very merry Christmas from me!

Advice: Falling Out With People

Hello blog friends :)

I thought it'd be a cool thing to do if I did some advice posts every now and then. Today's advice post is about falling out with people. This was sparked by a disagreement shall we say, between me and a pretty close friend yesterday (which is now thankfully all resolved).
Firstly, there is always people that you're going to clash with. You might be a generally loud person, and then another one comes along and you two clash. It's the same that you're not going to like everyone, and they're not necessarily going to like you. Obviously by your teenage years you'll know who you like and you dislike and you'll have your group of friends.
However, you and your group of friends can fall out, generally because girls are bitchy. And guys can be too. To be honest, it really isn't worth the hassle. Sometimes, just speaking to them works. Me and one of my best friends fell out for months and it was horrible. Neither of us were happy so we just started speaking again and forgot about it.
Also, sometimes it's best just to apologise, even if you don't think it's your fault. Giving up and admitting defeat is the best thing to do if you want to keep a good friendship. Falling out with your friends is pointless, because usually it's not because you don't like them, or you wouldn't be friends in the first place.
So the moral of this story is falling out with people is pointless. Give up your grudges and get close again! :)
